Resource · not graded
What you bring
Start here. You already know many English words: cognates from Spanish and from your career. Lesson 1 turns them into your first sentences.
What this prepares you for
The forum asks you to use Cognates + I am… with your classmates.

Goal of the lesson

I can recognize words I already know and say who I am.

Puedo reconocer palabras que ya conozco (cognados) y decir quién soy.

The URA has the explanation, audio, examples by career and the Cultural Corner of the III PAC. Take notes: you will use them in the forum.

Cognates + I am…

Cognates are words that look similar in English and Spanish. Use I am (I'm) to say who you are.

EnglishEspañol
