Activity 5 · 2%Your mission
How do you get to the university every day? Describe your route and transport.
- Write your post, then reply to at least two classmates with a genuine question or comment.
- Use the rule of the lesson and 2–3 words of your career.
- Cite the source you used (name and link).
- Choose one option: A · your career, or B · the Cultural Corner of your period (RHS Chelsea Flower Show).
- Competency reached: 65/100 or more in the forum rubric (level 3 «Good» or 4 «Excellent»).
Model
I live in Comayagüela. Every day I take two buses. First I take the bus to the centre, then I take the bus to Ciudad Universitaria. It takes 50 minutes.
Your career in this forum
Write about your career (its exact name in the UNAH Oferta Académica). Choose the example of your area and change it:
- Health sciences: To get to A&E, go straight on and turn left after the pharmacy.
- Engineering & technology: Take the lift to the third floor. The lab is on the right.
- Business & economics: Take the train to the city centre. The office is opposite the station.
- Education, humanities & communication: Go past the library. The studio is the second door on the left.
- Environment, agriculture & tourism: Follow the green path and cross the bridge. The lake is on your right.
Use 3 words of your career glossary.
Cultural connection · II PAC
Event of this week: RHS Chelsea Flower Show (Late May). See it in your II PAC Cultural Passport.
Your cultural mission: How do you get to the Chelsea Flower Show? Find the nearest Tube station and write the route.
Mirror Honduras: Which flowers and plants are typical in Honduras? (The orchid Rhyncholaelia digbyana is the national flower.)
Include one comparison between the United Kingdom and Honduras: one similarity and one difference.
Be respectful: say «In my experience…» or «In my city…», not «All Americans…» or «All Hondurans…». Need ideas? Ask SofIA Cultural.
