Assignment: Talking about three future plans
Activity 36 · 3%Your product
Present 3 future plans (personal, academic, professional) in writing and audio. Use going to, will and time expressions.
Also include: 1 element of your career · 1 cultural comparison with Honduras about JUNO Awards · your Source card.
Reuse your career program goal and your travel experience (Act. 33).
In Act. 40 your plans become the profile of your CV.
Model
Personal: next year I'm going to learn to swim. Academic: I'm going to take English IV. Professional: I think I'll work in a big hospital in Canada one day.
A model, not a template: your product is about you, your career and your own sources.
Learn before you do it
What a good product has
- Opening: greet the reader or say what your text is about (1 sentence).
- Body: the information the task asks for, in short sentences with the language of the lesson.
- Career and culture: one sentence about your career and one comparison with Honduras.
- Closing: a short final sentence. Then your Source card.
The language you need · Going to vs. will
Plans (decided): I'm going to study a master's. Predictions / promises: I think it will be difficult. I'll help you. Time: next year · in five years · after I graduate.

Your career in this assignment
Write about your career (its exact name in the UNAH Oferta Académica). Choose the example of your area and change it:
- Health sciences: I'm going to specialize in pediatrics. I think there will be more jobs.
- Engineering & technology: I'm going to learn Python. AI will change engineering.
- Business & economics: I'm going to start a small business after I graduate.
- Education, humanities & communication: I'm going to teach in a bilingual school.
- Environment, agriculture & tourism: I'm going to work in a national park. Climate change will be a big challenge.
Use 3 words of your career glossary.
Cultural connection · I PAC
Event of this week: JUNO Awards (April 1 – 4 (JUNO Week)). See it in your I PAC Cultural Passport.
Your cultural mission: The JUNO Awards are in spring. Make a plan: «I'm going to watch… I think … will win».
Mirror Honduras: Is there a prize for Honduran music? Who won?
Include one comparison between Canada and Honduras: one similarity and one difference.
Be respectful: say «In my experience…» or «In my city…», not «All Americans…» or «All Hondurans…». Need ideas? Ask SofIA Cultural.

- Check it with the rubric and the «I can…» list below.
- Write your final version.
- Submit on the UNAH Virtual Campus: your product + Source card + your prompt and chat link.
How to submit your product
Audio · UNAH Virtual Campus or Vocaroo

Add it to your career program file. It grows in every lesson.

Rubric · 20 points = 3%
Language counts double. Your teacher uses this rubric on the UNAH Virtual Campus.
| Criterion | 4 · Excellent | 3 · Good | 2 · Developing | 1 · Beginning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Language 8 pts | 8 pts Uses the language of the lesson (Going to vs. will) and its vocabulary correctly; 3 plans in writing + audio. | 6 pts Few errors that do not stop communication; the length is almost complete. | 4 pts Several errors; part of the message is not clear, or the product is short. | 2 pts Many errors; the lesson's language is not used, or most is in Spanish. |
| Process and use of AI 4 pts | 4 pts Draft + SofIA prompt and chat link (if AI was used); the text or file is complete and readable; the audio (Campus or Vocaroo link + MP3) is attached; the final product is clearly your own (AI level 2). | 3 pts Evidence or format partly incomplete. | 2 pts Little evidence of your own process, or a link does not open. | 1 pt No evidence, or the AI produced the work. |
| Career and culture 4 pts | 4 pts Includes an element of your career and a respectful comparison between the course country and Honduras. | 3 pts Includes your career or the comparison, not both. | 2 pts General content; weak link with career or culture. | 1 pt Not related to your career or to culture. |
| Autonomy and originality 4 pts | 4 pts Reuses and improves Act. 33; original and personal; complete Source card. | 3 pts Original, but reuse or Source card is partial. | 2 pts Very close to the model; no Source card. | 1 pt Copied or not personal. |
| Total | 20 points = 3% of your final grade (Activity 36). 0 points if not submitted. | |||
How your points become your grade: 20/20 pts = 3% · 15/20 pts = 2.25% · 10/20 pts = 1.5% · 5/20 pts = 0.75%.
Competency reached: 13/20 points (65/100) or more. Competency-based grading scale
Your result, two ways
Your teacher decides which one the course uses. Pass mark: 65 %.
1 · Percentage (summative)
your rubric points × 5 (20 points = 100) × the weight of the activity.
Example: 70 % in this activity (3 %) = 2.1 % of your final grade.
2 · Competency level
- 0–39 N1 · not reached
- 40–54 N2 · partly reached
- 55–64 N3 · almost reached
- 65–79 N4 · competency reached
- 80–89 N5 · reached with distinction
- 90–94 N6 · excellence
- 95–100 N7 · outstanding
Doble calificación: porcentaje sumativo (nota × peso) o nivel de competencia (aprobación con 65). El docente decide cuál usar. Escala completa

Academic integrity and AI
Your work must be yours. Follow LÍDER: 1 try first on your own · 2 ask SofIA for hints · 3 verify · 4 produce your own version · 5 be ready to explain it without AI. When the assignment allows AI, submit your prompt and the chat link as evidence of your process.
Create your own learning resource for Lesson 10
A comic strip, a labelled picture, flashcards, a grammar chart… You choose what to learn and how, SofIA helps you prepare it, and you print it (Letter size) or save it as PDF.
Elige qué aprender y cómo; SofIA te ayuda a prepararlo y tú lo imprimes en tamaño carta o lo guardas en PDF.
